Swype Beta Trial
Today I have managed to download the beta application of Swype for a Nexus One and will be putting through its paces and comparing to normal touch screen text input. As someone who sends over 1000 texts every month the idea of an application to help speed up this process is most welcome and Swype appears to be the answer. I have only just installed the application and will be giving some feedback in a few days time once I have managed to master the technique to make the head to head fair.

Altek Leo – 14mp camera and HD recording
There’s not much chance of this one appearing outside of Asia but the Altek Leo has definitely caught our eye. Powered by Android 2.1 it has a 14 megapixel camera with a pop-out 3x optical zoom lens so should, in theory, send your normal digital camera packing.

Speech Given at a Dinner for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition – 8th June 2010
Your Royal Highness, Your Grace, My Lord Bishop, Your Excellencies, Honoured President, Academicians, Lords, Ladies, Gentlemen, artists, art lovers, friends, trustees, donors, distinguished guests and assorted media scum. I rise to my feet on this occasion with a due sense of the honour that has been accorded me and not a little fear and an – I hope – becoming sense of unworthiness. For I am not an artist
