We conduct our business by phone in all types of public spaces including on public transport

Yendo You Remember Me?

Remember the Sony Ericsson Yendo? Perhaps not, but let us reacquaint you. The Yendo was announced back in the middle of June along with the Cedar and on the back of the X8’s debut . Previously seen under the ever-so-sweet codename of TeaCake, this was the return of the Walkman phone, and the first of which to wear a full touchscreen. Well, the W150i Yendo is just about ready for sale, with a Spanish retailer listing it as costing €169, or about £140. The Yendo has also been approved for sale in the USA, where it will be known as the Yizo. Nice. Anyway, the Yizo will share the same features as the Yendo, and here is a reminder of what they are: 2.6″ touchscreen.

First Look at MeeGo – Screenshots of Nokia and Intel’s OS Appear

It was back in February when we first heard that Nokia’s Maemo platform and Intel’s Moblin OS were merging to create what Nokia CEO, Olli Pekka-Kallasvuo described as a “new era of mobile computing.” MeeGo, an open Linux based platform was born, with the companies planning to combine the best of two rather niche platforms to take on the likes of Android and iOS. Nokia and Intel also hoped that MeeGo would be open in every way in order to appeal to as many users as possible and be available on a range of different handsets.

Phone Support For Beauty

You got to agree that the skeletal system is a genius of design; it protects the delicate organs inside while giving support to our lustrous skin. If we were to apply the same design for our mobile phones then it’s quite possible to wipe out the peripheral “phone covers and cases” industry. I’m talking about the LG Exo Smartphone Concept.

Samsung Cetus Leaked as Windows Phone 7 Device

Following the earlier news that Windows Phone 7 could be launching in Europe in October and the USA in November, we’ve been treated to a leak of a new Samsung phone running the Microsoft operating system. Named the Cetus, it appeared on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group website, albeit briefly. However, the moments that it did hang around was enough for the specification to be noted, so here is the proposed feature list for one of the first Samsing phones to use Windows Phone 7: A 4″, 800

Europe to See Windows Phone 7 First?

It has been a long wait to hear exactly when Microsoft will bring Windows Phone 7 to market and although we still don’t have an exact date, this is closer than we’ve been yet to that elusive day and date. Microsoft’s Chief Operating Officer Kevin Turner, who took to the stage at the Worldwide Partner Conference a short while ago, addressed Microsoft’s future in the smartphone arena, saying: October likely across Europe and November likely across US, we’re back in this game! Who would have expected Europe to be the first to see Windows Phone 7 in the shops?  Very few people we would imagine, as most would have laid money on a day/date launch across several countries at the same time
