If you know last year TRAI had announced that it will introduce 11 digit mobile numbers , as India is expected to run out of existing ones in less than 2 years time. TRAI had never expected that it will witness such meteoric Mobile subscriber growth. The numbers which were supposed to last till 2030 (as per their planning) are nearing exhaustion 20 years earlier than expected.

In their first ever visit after taking over Margao blast case, National Investigating Agency (NIA) officials today questioned Sanatan Sanstha’s managing trustee Virendra Marathe at its Ramnathi ashram. Sources confirmed that the five member NIA team visited ashram and inquired about the functioning of Sanstha, which has been under scanner after Margao blast. Marathe reportedly informed the team about various activities of Sanstha in spirituality and publishing.

CES 2010: Palm Updates the Pre and the Pixi

Palm’s announcement at this year’s CES weren’t quite as splashy as last year, when the company announced the Palm Pre , but the smartphone maker is making news nonetheless. Palm today announced that updated versions of its two webOS phones, the Palm Pre and the Palm Pixi, will be coming to Verizon Wireless later this month. Sprint is currently the exclusive carrier of both the Pre and the Pixi.

FCC seeks short extension to complete National Broadband Plan
