HulloMail’s iPhone app adds ‘free’ audio messaging to its visual voicemail service

[UK] HulloMail , the visual voicemail provider, recently released its dedicated app for the iPhone, available in the UK and US-only. The app brings the complete HulloMail visual voicemail feature set to the device, most of which is fairly redundant for iPhone owners whose networks already support Apple’s own visual voicemail implementation. (Orange UK, which recently began selling the iPhone, currently doesn’t, something that HulloMail is obviously keen to point out.) Where things get a little more interesting, however, is that the app also offers the ability to record and send audio messages to other HulloMail users or to any email address via a the phone’s data plan, therefore bypassing the operators own voice carriage.

I-League: Fatorda Stadium To Host I-League Games In Goa

Following an inspection of Fatorda Stadium conducted by the officials of the three Goan clubs, who are to play in Goa in the upcoming round of I-League, and Goa Football Association (GFA) officials on Tuesday, it was decided that the stadium was fit to host matches. There were doubts as to whether it was fit enough to host given that the central area was dug up and re-laid by the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG), who had backed the Goa Cricket Association’s (GCA) whim that they stand an opportunity to host a cricket match and hence, began to work on the cricket pitch. However, after the match wasn’t allotted to Goa by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the SAG began to repair the damage the done.

A hack attack that targeted Google in December also hit 33 other companies, including financial institutions and defense contractors, and was aimed at stealing source code from the companies, say security researchers at iDefense. The hackers used a zero-day vulnerability in Adobe Reader to deliver malware to many of the companies and were in some cases successful at siphoning the source code they sought, according to a statement distributed Tuesday by iDefense, a division of VeriSign.
